Junior Production/Sign maker

The print and signage space needs the next generation within the industry. For this role too, you don't need experience just the right attitude and behaviours. That doesn't mean you have to be young, we can look at experienced but with transferrable skills but this is an opportunity to really get your teeth into something new. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, eager-to-learn and develop skills within a trade. The trade is sign-making.  You need to be imaginative with an eye for detail, hardworking and enthusiastic, and willing to learn and progress within the trade

You will be shown and educated in the highly skilled trade – a sign maker contributes to the manufacture and installation of a variety of signs including interior signs, exterior signs, vehicle graphics, window graphics, shop signage, exhibition displays, and digital signage. You need to show up with the right attitude, behaviours, and ambition to be a skilled sign maker, with time. 

You will have full on the Job training in all aspects of the role and will learn and be involved in the production and installation aspects of the business. Day-to-day duties will include setting up files for vinyl cutting, preparation of vinyl graphics, and application to a wide variety of substrates including panels, vans, and cars. Other duties may include measuring and calculating signage sizes, preparing surfaces, and installing signs on site.
