You've got to be ok performing under pressure. Doing your best work with eyes burning into the back of your head, watching your every move.

Not wanting you to trip up, but out of pure excitement and anticipation that you're the one solving the problems.  You'll be a people person as this role is customer-facing. You'll be on-site installing, diagnosing or fixing some impressive pieces of print machinery.

This is an opportunity to join a business that manufactures label packaging. You’ll be part of a very impressive set-up. 280 + Headcount, £18m turnover and an ambitious Senior Management Team. They’re a business that has been in operation for 75 years! That’s a long time to perfect your art. The quality, the innovation, service and support are all second to none and their global client base loves them for it. It’s important that you fall into the category of being passionate about your work, as this will shine through.

As it stands, there's a team of 4 Engineers and due to some fairly rapid but solid growth, you'll be number 5. A close-knit team, communication is key between you to ensure that the best engineer for the specific job is scheduled. There's going to be a lot of training given on this role. So expect to be in and around experienced professionals brushing up your skills and learning from the best!

Culture is important on this one. Going through rapid growth as they are, it's important that the talent coming in still fits within the business, especially in key roles like this.

Knowledge of packaging presses would be incredibly useful on this one. Whilst training will be given, you'll be in good stead if you have flexographic print or flexo packaging knowledge and experience. If not, but you're a whizz at fixing similar types of problems, training will be given but the package will reflect this.

This role will span both planned and reactive maintenance. The team has talent across both mechanical and electrical engineering, so depending on your bias, you'll slot in perfectly well. Obviously, after reading this you'll still have many questions, so if it has left you wanting to know more, please get in touch.
