Database Administrator

About you
You’re confident, organised and not afraid to pick up the phone. This isn’t a sales role — it’s about fact-finding and keeping information accurate. You don’t need previous experience. What matters is that you’re accurate, quick to learn and willing to ask the right questions to get the right details.

Your experience
No background is required. If you’ve done admin, research, customer service or anything where you’ve had to deal with details, that’s useful, but it’s not essential. What counts is your confidence, your persistence and your ability to work through tasks carefully and accurately.

What you’ll be doing with your experience in this role
You’ll help keep our database reliable and up to date by:

  • Calling organisations to replace hard-bounced emails, confirm when people have moved on or retired, and find the best new contact.

  • Fact-finding and sometimes being creative in getting accurate details from gatekeepers.

  • Reviewing existing records and cleaning data so contacts can be found easily.

  • Coding employers and candidates correctly in our system.

  • Researching new companies and inputting data accurately and quickly.
