Vacancy Detail

HR Administrator

HR is vital in any organisation but when you are on an acquisition trial like my client are, it's even more vital. Multiple processes, individual businesses joining a £1bn turnover business and moving to a centralised HR function requires meticulous planning and execution.

The HR strategy has been set, the HR function has been built and now support is needed to ensure that everything from here is plain sailing. Yeah right, it's HR, HR and plain sailing don't go together, you know that! When 'stuff' doesn't go to plan though, we need you to be experienced enough to know not to panic, remain calm, composed and find a solution.

As an experienced HR Administrator, you'll understand that you'll be pulled from pillar to post by day to day aspects like probation reviews, payroll, on boarding, recruitment but you've got to be disciplined with your time too, keep plugging away at the bigger picture too, this is where you'll be guided by the best HR Business Partner we've ever worked with.

This role is home based (majority of the time) and your remit is across multiple sites, with roughly 500 head count that will grow! Ideally you'll be based around the Midlands (but we're open to this) you'll be travelling around so you've got to be prepared and happy for this from day 1. You'll benefit massively from this though as the only way you can understand the business, the people and the opportunity is by being in it with them.

The culture is fast paced. You've got to be already thinking a couple of spaces ahead. It will test you, so you'll have to have the experience of HR and the maturity to know that you're making a difference here. Through a culture of change, acquisition and development you know you're making a positive difference.

We need people that get shit done. We don't pass the book, we don't wait for somebody else to lead. We need you to act, to be accountable and be present. So if you've got a decent whack of HR experience and looking for an opportunity where you will be challenged, stretched and developed then this is the one for you. It would be great if you've come from a centralised function as this will aid you hitting the ground running quicker but it isn't essential.

Get in touch through the below methods and we can have a chat about you, your aspirations and hopefully it will align with this gem of a job.
