Customer Service Representative - Packaging
There are not many more important people in the print, packaging and manufacturing process than the Customer Services team. Yes, everyone in the process all adds to the collective but as a Customer Service Representative, you're the one that pulls the print and packaging process from concept through to completion.
Here, you're valued and given the credibility you deserve. The new business hunters know that they'd be lost without you, the production team know that they wouldn't be busy without you and the client loves you for the service you provide to them. See, I told you you're integral.
This role is all about pulling the strings. You take the brief from the client, guide them through the print process and once that's done, you do everything you need to do internally. Load onto the system, brief creative, push through to production, despatch all along liaising with sales and the customer directly. Sounds simple eh, but coming from the print world, you know it's anything but.
You'll need to know your stuff. Having the technical knowledge to be able to guide your customers through the process comes with your knowledge of the print and packaging industry. If you've done a similar, all-encompassing job in a different sector, it is something we could look at too but it's important that you're not a wallflower. Your clients are depending on you to get their products labelled correctly, making their products stand out on the shelf. As you can imagine, being a strong-willed and progressive personality will help with this.
You'll be joining a long-standing team with a manager who is highly regarded. They've been with the business for 6 years and progressed nicely into the Client Services Manager. An illustration of progression, if that's what you want.
For me, the best thing about this role is that you get to work with some pretty well known and prestigious brands. Customers will range from leading household brands to global beverage brands.
The work is what you'd typically class as "Label Packaging". Think labels on bottles of beer, wine, whiskey, rum, and vodka through to household products and healthcare products, the works! I'm sure when you see your work out in public, you'll be proud as punch to tell the people you are with that you produced those labels.
You're going to be joining a business steeped in history. They are the go-to company for what they do. Within the business, it's a great place to be. They have real progressive culture. An open-door policy and continually have town hall meetings with staff (every quarter) to know how to better themselves. giving their people, you, a voice.
Decent package which is above the "standard" with 25 + bank holidays, Company pension, Life Cover and a few more little 'sweeteners' but an important one is an early dart on a Friday - 3:20 finish for you to enjoy drinking from some of the bottles you've been labelling (or to do anything else you want to do for that matter).
You don't need a CV to be considered for this or any other job in the print & packaging industry you might be looking at, for me, it all starts with a conversation so if you're reading this and fancy a chat about this or any other role in the industry you want, then give us a call.
