Business Development Manager

Business Development in document management, scanning and archiving can be a tough gig. It’s made easier when you have a team behind you delivering sustained quality, delivering time and time again.

You’ll get that here. Steeped in history you’re going to be supported by an army of experienced client services, production and management that want one thing, to be relied upon to deliver what they say they will.

You’re experienced in new business, prospecting, pitching and winning new clients. Doing a deep dive into the current client base, seeing where you can add even greater value, solidifying those relationships and in turn increasing revenue.

It’s an exciting time. All eyes are on this Document Management, Document Bureau, cloud archiving solution provider. They’ve got an extensive client base in certain areas and have spotted a huge gap and potential in the market. Spear headed by an experienced Commercial Project Director, there’s investment and funding in place with a huge influx of capex on order. We need you, an experienced business development manager to bring new clients on board into this document management solution.

There’s no fixed prospect strategy. It would dove tail nicely to their current legal clients if you could know your way around the NHS, Government or Security type clients but if you know Document Management, Scanning Solutions or Bureau scanning management then we want to hear from you.

Whilst open on prospect industry, it would be best positioned for this role to cover Birmingham and South. That’s where there’s untapped footfall and huge, huge potential.

Talking of potential, some of the prospecting work is underway and you’ll be walking into a solid pipeline of over £500k worth of business, that is forecast to convert this financial year. Cushty. To be fair, this helps with walking away from commission, knowing you’re not 100% starting from scratch and should give you confidence that they already and do know what they’re doing.

I mentioned earlier that they’re steep in experience. This division is part of a £multi million division of a £billion turnover global business. They’re a solution provider, commodity sales and transactional sales experience isn’t at all a bad way of selling but if that’s you, it may take a little longer to hit the ground running.

This is a new role, you can make it, shape it, and deliver it how you see fit. As long as it’s delivered. There’s no doubting that though as you’re well versed in selling the solution of document management, digital archiving and scanning bureau.
