Vacancy Detail
CNC Router & Fibre Laser Operator
About you
You’ve spent the last few years getting hands-on with CNC routers and laser machinery. You know how to get the most out of the tools and tech in front of you, and you’re confident working with a range of materials—from aluminium and stainless steel to acrylic and polycarbonate.
You take pride in precision and getting the details right. Whether you’re working independently or alongside a team, you stay organised, proactive, and focused on delivering high-quality results on time.
Your experience
You’ll need at least three years of solid experience operating CNC routers and fibre laser machines in a production or signage environment. You should be comfortable using software like VCarve, CYP Cut, SignLAB, and Smart Carve 5. A strong ability to read technical drawings and work with a range of substrates is essential.
We’re looking for someone with a practical mindset, a good understanding of production processes, and a strong commitment to safe working practices.
What you’ll be doing with your experience
You’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a range of CNC equipment, including:
- 3-axis flatbed CNC router
- Fibre laser cutter
- CNC laser cutter (mainly for acrylics)
- Waterjet cutting system
You’ll be working from production drawings, selecting appropriate materials, and producing high-quality signage components with a clean, accurate finish. Machine maintenance, housekeeping, and contributing to a safe, efficient working environment are also key parts of the role.
You’ll play an important role in keeping standards high and projects on track.
About the company
You’ll be joining a well-established and growing business with a strong reputation in the signage industry. It’s a place where quality comes first, and where every team member plays a part in delivering standout results for clients across the country.
You’ll be part of a tight-knit production team that values hard work, craftsmanship, and collaboration. Effort is recognised, and no two days are quite the same.
