Location: Carrington, UK (with potential relocation to Orlando, USA)

Salary: £28k plus company bonus

Job Summary:

 

As an Operations Management Executive, you’ll embark on a dynamic learning journey to gain an overview of the business function supporting your knowledge, and experience growth.

 

This role offers a unique opportunity where you’ll acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for potential advancement to the Operations Manager role, either within the UK or at the sister business in Orlando, USA. The Operations Management Executive will oversee the departmental functions to ensure product quality, strategic goal achievement, and customer satisfaction throughout.

 

You’ll receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience across various departments such as Finance, Customer Support, Production, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, Operations, HR, Quality, and IT, facilitating a thorough understanding of our business operation.

 

Alongside gaining valuable business management expertise, you’ll integrate into the management team, with opportunities to contribute to their strategic objectives. Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally, including potential relocation, is essential for this role. There may also be occasional short-notice trips to Orlando to support their operation in the USA.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in a comprehensive hands-on training program, rotating through different departments to gain a thorough understanding of all business functions and earn credibility through practical experience.
  • Adapt to changing business needs and contribute to operational efficiency across departments.
  • Achieve performance objectives set by upper management.
  • Shadow experienced employees to absorb their knowledge, methods, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Lead or assist in special projects as directed by upper management.
  • Provide regular progress reports on goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with management and trainers to monitor performance progress.
  • Offer support in various departments as required, such as reporting, data entry, presentation development, strategic planning, and customer service.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between departments to optimise efficiency.
  • Participate in site visits to suppliers in the UK and Europe.
