Vacancy Detail

Account Manager

You're an integral part of the bigger picture. You're the first and last call from the customer and you love the involvement you have in bringing their ideas to life.

You're going to be working for a Large Format printing business. One that is very well regarded for being a quality print business. Creative, efficient and reliable. 3 traits that you'll probably have in abundance in your locker too.

Everything is in-house with this business. So the control you have over the process is second to none. You know that what you set out to your client with regards to expectations you kind directly influence. Quoting, Studio, Production, Packing and Installs. You'll be responsible for progressing the print from concept to completion.

This is a cracking little business, one that has a very loyal customer base. When we say print, think of really creative print from office branding, retail store fit outs through to Exhibition Displays and live event branding. The really big, juicy stuff!

Given the complexity of the world of print and the demands from the clients, it would be majorly beneficial to you, the customer and your future employer if you came from the world of Large Format Print, Wide Format Print or Signage would be a good transferable industry.

As this is a role where you are spinning lots of plates and coordinating a service through many different teams internally, you'll need to be able to get the site if needed. With that, this is an office/site more than anything so commutable to the manufacturing site in Derby is essential.

This isn't just order taking as an Account Manager, as this business doesn't have 'sales' people. They want their Account Managers to be commercially minded. To have the ability to nurture, grow and develop revenue through exceptional client interaction. You'll be the go to person for all thing graphics and large format print to your client because they know you've got them.

All-encompassing, you'll have to be comfortable in acting on sales enquiries, providing quotes (so knowledge of the substrates and industry comes in handy here), chasing up the quotes, taking a brief, briefing into studio and production, reporting back to the client, arranging dates to be delivered and installed. In amongst all this, you'll probably have time to make a brew and drink it cold! It's a busy place.

As an experienced Account Manager already, you'll know the day to day job, you already love that but what you'll want to know is why would you join this business. The best way to know that... Get in touch.

You don't need a CV, as a recruiter, we've recruited with this client for over 10 years. We know them implicitly well. They trust us. So if you have seen this and don't have a CV ready to go, don't let that put you off getting in touch.

Nice and simple, speak soon!
