Sales Manager

You love the print and packaging space but you love sustainable print and packaging even more so. As do your future employer, in fact, they've built their business on sustainable print and packaging. A very successful business too I might add. So successful nd reputable that recently, the business has been purchased and migrated into one of the biggest companies within the global print industry. Don't worry though, despite the size of the larger business, this place has and will continue to retain it's culture as a small but very well-regarded quality provider of sustainable print and packaging products. 

You'll be a salesperson. Not shy of picking up the phone, knocking on doors and really building those relationships. Your first task will be to strategise and target new business. There will be some accounts that will be given to you which will help you hit the ground running but you've got to love the whole prospect, pitch and onboard new business too.

Helping you position yourself in this new business, there is a certain product that is patented only to this business, meaning you've got a real point of difference which is great and certainly helpful when you are knocking down the doors. 

You'll also be supported by everything being in-house. Meaning you've got control. Production, warehouse, client services and sales. A solid team all on the same journey pulling together, it makes the attitude of "getting stuff done" easier to live and breathe by. 

Print and packaging is a broad term so lets narrow this down a little. You'll be selling consumable packaging. Your ideal customer base will be organisations that need to send products that won't get damaged and can be temperature controlled. Some of the biggest clients now include the likes of, well actually, I can't say the names (NDA's and all that) but once you're in, you know that you will have a number of big clients to reference to the new ones you are bringing on board.  

The role is a national position. So you have to be OK traveling. We are looking for someone who has worked in a sales capacity and within the packaging space for at least a couple of years. You certainly don't have to be the fount of all knowledge when it comes to technical understanding but knowing the industry is super useful for you, your customers, and your new employer. 

As I mentioned, there is new business you need to win and accounts that you will be given. You will have sales targets. You will be rewarded with a decent base salary, a car allowance, a commission scheme (for hitting those sales targets) and lots of other perks. 

You're going to be working for a reputable business that is now within a bigger business. Stability and ambition to grow and progress is strong within the organisation and we need you to be of the same mentality. Appreciative of what you're doing but ambitious and driven to push forward.
