Print Operative

This is a busy place. Same-day printing since 2016. It's fair to say it's pretty fast-paced. 

If rolling your sleeves up and being part of a small but focused team is something you enjoy then this is for you. It'll be busy from the get-go go so we do need you to have experience in operating print equipment. Ideally Large Format & Signage type print but some print at least! 

You wouldn't believe the client list this company has managed to build since its inception in 2016. Some of the biggest brands in the world and it doesn't look like it's slowing down any time soon either. So the brief comes in, and the turnaround is short. It's SAME DAY. 

Brief, printed and delivered. In any small team it's important that you all do what is needed to get the job done. As such, you will need a driving license for this as there will be some occasions you might be jumping in the van and delivering the work you've just printed. You'll be integral to the business. 

You'll hopefully be a printer that has worked on a variety of machines (although if not, I'm sure it won't take you long to get up to speed). There's a good mix of printers in this place, there needs to be with the variety of work they have coming through the factory at any point in time. Here you'll be on the SwissQ, Epson SureColour and Mimaki's through to the massive 4.5m wider applicator table, the cutters and plotters. A solid allrounder indeed. 

Given the dual task of this role (printing and delivering), it will be very hands-on. The willingness and ability to operate heavy machinery and move sizeable pieces of kit on and off a van is a must for this. 

There's flexibility on the times you have worked too. You'll be contracted to 40 hours. You have the flexibility on your start and finish times. 9-5 or 8-4 or 7-3 it's what works for you and the business but there is definite flexibility there.
