Internal Sales

This role is all about you.  

With so many opportunities to progress in the business, it really is about you and what you want from your career. You could be like the General Manager of this International distribution business start in sales and now running the show or you could tangent off into other areas of the business. The world is your Oyster. 

What you do need though, is the desire to get the job done. You'll have the experience in the bag that you know the benefits hard graft brings, we firmly believe we can't teach you to want to do well in your job, everything else, yes but persistence, drive and ambition, that's got to come from you. That's what you'll need to be a great success here.  

You'll be joining a solid team, of the 16 of us in this site, we have decent longevity with the average length of service sitting around 12 years. The longest has just surpassed 20 years! Once you're in, you're in. 

So you'll be joining us in the sales department, you'll be tasked with evaluating our current customer base. Who's spending with us, what do they buy, what are we good at, what are we not good at and looking for an opportunity to grow and develop relationships through customer service and new product and services introduction. There's more than enough for you to go at but if you wanted to do some new business prospecting too, that would be super helpful. 

You'll be supported by our internal account management team who will do the day to day order taking, processing and logistics. You'll be supporting the Business Development Manager in managing their diary and going out on visits with them to really help you grow and understand the customer base in greater detail. 

The plan is for you to sell products, services and new lines of products to the growing client base. You'll have an industry focus on Signage & Display so if you are from a print, signage or graphics business, then that would be great as you'll have the market knowledge and insight needed. Failing that, a similar internal sales role and an appreciation for commodity items or/and the distribution of products.
