IT Support Administrator

You love being the person that people rely on. You get huge satisfaction from streamlining, improving and developing systems that impact the day-to-day functionality of a business. If you don't, this role isn't for you. 

Here, you'll get the opportunity to flex your IT and system muscles and knowledge in this manufacturing business. For 30 years, they've had a custom-built ERP and are soon to be migrating across to MS Dynamics. Sounds simple, but as you are an experienced IT whizz, you know it's anything but simple. 

Coming into this role, it would be super useful to you, the business and the end-users if you know your way around Microsoft Dynamics already. With the installation not happening until Q1 2023, there's a fair amount of work to do beforehand so you should have solid experience and skills in supporting a small IT function for a global manufacturing business. 

Away from this exciting project and huge investment from the business, you'll be responsible for supporting the IT function for this global business. Server management, VOIP management, and Database Administration (SQL currently) amongst some of the BAU-type roles of this position. 

So, you'll be joining a business that is growing. Growing in many ways from customer base, infrastructure, head count and premises. They have sites here in the Carrington, Florida and soon to be on the West Coast of the US too. As an IT Support Administrator, you're fundamental to the day-to-day operation of the business from an IT perspective. So part of a Global business but a very small team within the IT function supporting the global sites. 

You'll love having projects in the pipeline (Dynamics integration) but also the day to day element of an IT role within a business like this. This isn't a 1st line support 'turn it off and on' type role, you'll be leaned upon, respected and expected to know your stuff from managing and supporting the whole business on 365 through to 3rd part supplier relationships through to managing Virtual Server Farms and SQL. 

This is a client I know very well. We've placed 2 people with them in the last month who have settled in great, we are working on a retained basis so recruitment (thankfully) is taken seriously.
