Account Manager

About you

You like the idea of being more than just employee number twenty three.  

You want to be close to the action. You want to see how decisions are made, how clients are won and how a print and design business actually grows.

You might be early in your career as an Account Executive or Junior Account Manager, though you are ambitious. You want responsibility. You want your ideas to be heard.

This role will suit you if you are comfortable in a small, fast moving environment and excited by the idea of helping shape something rather than just slotting into a structure that already exists.

Your experience

You may already be working in print, design, branding or marketing in a client services, sales support or junior account management role.

You understand commercial print. Litho, digital print, large format and branded materials are familiar to you, even if you are still learning the finer details.

You are organised and confident speaking to clients. You can take a brief, ask sensible questions and keep a job moving.

You are self motivated. In a small business there is nowhere to hide, so you are someone who takes ownership and enjoys that level of accountability.

Most importantly, you are keen to grow with a business rather than just work in one.

What you will be doing with your experience in this role

You will work directly with the founder across every live project.

You will help manage client relationships, take briefs, prepare quotes and coordinate with production partners to deliver high quality print and design work.

You will be involved in everything from commercial print and digital print through to large format, branded materials and creative projects.

As the first hire, you will help shape processes, improve how projects are managed and influence how the business develops its account management approach.

Over time, you will take on more responsibility for your own accounts, helping to grow revenue and build long term client relationships.
