Vacancy Detail
Project Manager - Exhibitions & Live Events
About you
You enjoy the pace of exhibitions and live environments. Tight deadlines, moving parts, last minute changes. You stay calm and keep things moving.
You are someone who understands both the practical and commercial side of project delivery. You can speak confidently about framing systems, build logistics, print production and what it takes to get a project over the line properly.
You are organised, proactive and comfortable handling pressure internally and externally. Clients trust you because you communicate well and stay in control when things get busy.
If you enjoy managing exhibition and event projects where no two days look the same, this will suit you.
Your experience
You have experience as a Project Manager within exhibitions, events, branded environments or a related large format production environment.
Strong experience with framing systems such as TFS, BeMatrix or Aluvision is essential. That knowledge is harder to teach, so this is a key part of the role.
You understand exhibition stands, venue takeovers and live event delivery.
You also have a solid understanding of print production and how graphics integrate with structures and builds.
You are comfortable working across multiple projects at once while keeping timelines, budgets and expectations under control.
You understand the realities of the events industry and know it is not always a standard 9 to 5 environment.
What you will be doing with your experience in this role
You will support the delivery of exhibition stands, venue takeovers and branded event environments from brief through to completion.
You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers and installers to ensure projects are planned properly and delivered to a high standard.
You will use your knowledge of framing systems and live event environments to manage logistics, timelines and production requirements confidently.
You will support senior leadership across project delivery, helping keep projects commercially and operationally on track.
You will spend the majority of your time office based in St Neots, with occasional onsite work supporting live projects and installations.
This is a role where organisation, communication and the ability to stay composed under pressure are all critical.
About the business
This is a well-established branded environments and large format graphics business delivering across exhibitions, live events, retail and commercial spaces.
They are known for delivering high quality work in fast-paced, high visibility environments where execution matters.
The team is experienced, collaborative and ambitious, with strong capability across print, production and installation.
You would be joining a business with serious industry knowledge, exciting projects and the backing of people who know the sector properly.
