Conversion Operator
About you
You are an experienced Conversion Operator who understands the importance of accuracy, efficiency and maintaining quality throughout production.
You are comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment and you take pride in keeping your machine running properly. You spot problems early, work safely and make sure finished product meets specification before it leaves your area.
You are reliable, practical and happy working as part of a production team where standards matter.

Your experience
You have previous experience operating conversion, slitting or finishing machinery within a manufacturing, print or packaging environment.
You are confident carrying out machine set ups, selecting materials correctly and monitoring production runs to maintain quality standards.
You understand inspection checks, product specifications and how to identify and manage non conforming product when issues arise.
You are comfortable completing production reports accurately and keeping systems updated with the correct information.
You understand Health and Safety within a manufacturing setting and work responsibly at all times.
You are organised, hands on and able to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
What you will be doing with your experience in this role
You will operate conversion machinery to produce finished slit reels safely and efficiently to specification.
You will carry out machine set ups, select the correct films and materials for each job and monitor production throughout the run.
You will carry out inspection checks to ensure product quality is maintained and take corrective action where needed.
You will unload, record, palletise and package finished product in line with internal and customer requirements.
You will complete production reports accurately and help keep systems updated with the correct product and time recording information.
You will maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment, reporting maintenance issues where necessary to prevent breakdowns.
You will also support waste reduction processes, update daily management boards and assist with reworking product when required.
