Signage / Print Production All Rounder

About you

You’re someone who knows their way around a signage production environment and likes being hands-on.

You’re comfortable jumping between printing, laminating, finishing, vinyl work and getting jobs properly prepped and out of the door.

You don’t need to be an installer as well. If you are happy getting out on site and helping with installs from time to time, brilliant, but the main thing we need is someone strong in production.

There’s also room for someone a little more experienced who likes taking ownership of their work. You might already be speaking with customers, keeping an eye on jobs from start to finish or naturally being the person who makes sure everything gets done properly.

Your experience

You’ll ideally already be working within signage, large format print or graphics production.

You might be a Sign Maker, Large Format Print Operator, Production All-Rounder or someone doing a bit of everything within a signage business.

Experience with HP Latex, Epson or similar large format kit would be useful, alongside laminating, finishing and working with vinyl.

There’s a good mix of work coming through, including vehicle graphics, retail graphics and general signage, so someone who has worked across a few different areas would suit them well.

Illustrator experience would be handy too, although you don’t need to be an artworker.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be based from a new dedicated production hub in Calne, working across the day-to-day production of signage and graphics.

That could mean running the printers one minute, laminating and finishing the next, prepping graphics for an install or getting a vehicle graphics job ready to go.

For someone coming in towards the top end of the salary, there’s scope to do more.

If you can help with installs, deal confidently with customers and take ownership of some jobs from start to finish, they’re happy to shape the role around that.

Equally, if you’re a really good production person who wants to concentrate on making things, we still want to hear from you.

About the business

They’re a growing signage business who have recently invested in a new production hub and now want another experienced person to join them.

It’s a proper signage environment with plenty of variety rather than standing on the same machine producing the same thing every day.

They’re pretty flexible on exactly what this person looks like. The priority is finding someone who understands signage, enjoys the production side and can come in and make a difference.

There’s overtime there if you want it too, but it isn’t something you’ll be expected to live on.
